This website is run by Sue Taylor, trading as Sue the Celebrant, based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. I am the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

When you contact me. If you use the contact form, email or phone me, I collect your name, email address, the type of ceremony you are asking about, and anything you include in your message.
When we work together. To plan and write a ceremony, I may collect further details such as your contact information, the date and venue, and personal stories, memories and wishes about you or someone you are remembering. Some of this may include sensitive information, for example about a person’s beliefs or health. I only use it to create your ceremony, and I handle it with care.
When you visit the website. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. This data is anonymised or aggregated and I do not use it to identify you.

I do not sell your information and I do not use it for marketing unless you ask me to.
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) cookies to measure visits, and only if you accept them. Cookies are small files stored on your device.

No analytics cookies are set until you choose to accept them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Declining does not affect your use of the site.
I only share information with trusted services that help me run my business, such as my website hosting provider, my email provider and Google (for analytics, if you consent). They process your information on my behalf and only as needed. Some providers may process data outside the UK, and where they do I rely on appropriate safeguards. I may also share information where required by law.
I only keep your information for as long as I need it for the reasons above, or for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. When it is no longer needed, I delete it securely.
